 EGG DISHES

Hello chef friends, so guys, this time I will explain the results of the practice that my friends and I got at the PMC course, namely on Monday, October 17 2022, which is about the practice of making egg dishes.
 Here's the presentation:

- The main ingredient is eggs.

- Eggs are mostly served for breakfast.

- Various kinds of egg dishes, including:

1. Boiled eggs

a. Soft-boiled eggs (3-4 minutes)

b. Medium-boiled eggs (5-7 minutes)

c. Hard-boiled eggs (12-13 minutes)


o Steps to make boiled eggs:

1) Bring water to a boil

2) After the water boils, add the eggs. Boil using medium heat.

3) Adjust the cooking time as needed.

4) Once cooked, put the eggs in cold water.

2. Poached eggs

· Boil without shell, then add acid product.

· The function of the acid product is added to the cooking water to bind the protein in the egg white, eliminating the fishy smell.

· Served with toast.

o Steps to make poached eggs:

1) Boil water until it boils.

2) After boiling, reduce the heat to simmering/medium heat.

3) Add 5 mL of vinegar and a little salt and mix well.

4) Make a whirlpool in the middle, then add the egg when the swirl starts to slow down. Then stir a little, but not too fast, to collect the egg whites that have run off to combine with the egg yolks.

5) Process cooked for 3-5 minutes. The good thing is just 3 minutes then drain the eggs. And ready to serve


3. Fried eggs

a. Sunny set up (not flipped) and turn over (flipped) = (fried eggs)

b. Omelette

c. Scrumble eggs
